"Transformation is an autobiographical account of how I realized my power. Producer, multi-instrumentalist and my friend Tony Ozier sent it to me and said "I WROTE A SONG FOR YOU!"
It was the year my beloved Mother passed away suddenly. I was lost and didn't know where my voice would take me. Driving home with the song blazing, the chorus came out in my lower register because I had sung all of my highs away for the night. It was the beginning of the Etta Anthem known as Transformation. The synchronicity of the band on the opening riff pans out into a solid groove to allow the storytelling to begin. By the end, you too, will be ready for your own metamorphosis.”
